Dear Ouida,
I thoroughly enjoyed your January and February blogs. I look forward to these in the months ahead.
I have just finished doing your blog the exercise “Tips To Restore Your Trust and Confidence” and will focus on these; they are a very helpful reminder of the blessings, opportunities, and giftings that the Lord has given me. I see a parallel to those things that excited me even when I was not saved and how the Lord has used them to develop me and my walk with Him as well as to bless the Body of Christ and those who do not know him yet. For example, my love of writing, He has caused me to use in preparing my speaking messages to the church and community. He is sooo Good and Faithful.
This exercise was also helpful in me seeing some callings and giftings He placed in me which I would not have ventured into early on in my walk, but ones I needed to trust Him to bring forth. These were surprises He gave me that I know could not have occurred except that He nudge me forward, such as public speaking. I was content an felt safe to be a writer behind the scenes, but He has placed me in positions of representing Him through speaking before audiences in which I have had to learn to trust in Him with all that was within me. By His comfort and strength, I have learned to embrace this and soar in His grace to give out more of Him to those to whom He has assigned me. The neat thing is that I can feel Him with me and in me, for it is Him living through me; I am just a willing vessel who knows I cannot do anything without Him. Thank you, Lord that I am never alone.
Thank you, God for bringing Ouida in our lives early on and for the bright shining light she is for You to the world and to the Body of Christ. Please bless her in all she is and does for You.
Love and prayers from your friend,
Pastor Liz Robinson
